These elephants, through reasons of injury or ill health, can no longer be used as a part of the backbone of heavy work in the jungles of Thailand. Also because of their diminishing habitat, it is now longer possible to return them to the wild. The Elephant Village provides then magnificent creatures with a safe haven, where they may live out their lives with dignity and freedom from fear. Khao Chi Chan is part of the Wat YangSangwaram Temple Complex, although it is a couple of kilometers away from it, near here is Nong Nooch Gardens. This image is the largest sculptured image of Buddha in the world, it was done in 1995 for the Kings Birthday. The Buddha image is 130 meters tall and 70 meters wide and outlined in Gold.Wat Yansangwararam (5 kms)

Pattaya Floating Market was opened to the public in November 2008. The area of Pattaya’s latest attraction which is situated on an approximately area of 100,000 square meters. It is divided into 4 separate parts, each with its own unique location, represents the four regions of Thailand: Northern -, Central -, North-Eastern and Southern region and offering a special blend of differing traditions. Khao Kheow open zoo
Thailand's largest open plan zoo with the animals roaming freely without fences. Covering 2,000 acres with over 300 species located in twelve themed zones, including Africa, Cats Complex, Walk Through Aviary, Penguin Park. Visitors can drive their own cars around, or catch one of the zoo's guided auto-trams that cover a seven-kilometre route through the various zones, allowing you to get off and on where you like. Additional attractions include the daily Animal Show, Night Safari by auto-tram to discover the nocturnal habits of many animals; Zoo School (with accommodation) offers curricula for students to learn about animals and the environment.
